Hey man, I'd edit that post. Good way to get points and flamed.

On topic... Go Hta35 or 6266. Your displacement with spool quickly,
And it'll be plenty of fun. Plus room to grow, if e85 becomes available or u wanna do some race gas pulls at the strip.

I run hta3582 on a 2.3 I am very happy with it, fun and very drivable on daily bases. Only thing am missing is bigger throttle body and bigger fuel system to max my " pump gas" power and that is it for my evo all done putting money into it.

Does the 6266 spool faster than the 6262? I know the hta3582 does

When I mention the 6262, everyone else says hta3586 is better.

i would say no. but the new 6266 will net more hp then the 6262. the 6266 vs the hta86 i would guess is around the same power but the hta86 still spools up quicker.

If you are SURE you are never going to e85 - go with a black (at the largest). If you are looking to have a race setting (e85) and a pump gas setting, go with the 3582 imo.

Go look up some dyno graphs of 2.3's with black and 6262/3582 you'll see what I'm saying. Loss of spool won't be worth it if you are ONLY ever going to use pump gas.

all the mods i have are bolt ons. ie ic piping, megan manifolds. etc.. im thinking of buying hks 272 cams.
I'm running a stock block, Kelford 272s, 255 pump, 1250cc injectors (went big just in case I decide to run corn), and normal supporting bolt ons. My car made 360whp/325wtq on GST's Mustang. I'm hitting only about 24.5psi so it's a pretty conservative tune, AFRs are in the mid to low 11s.

I use the car for HPDEs and AutoX and love the BBK Full. Spools quick and delivers great power on 91. This setup just switching to E85 will net somewhere in the neighborhood of 44Xwhp on a conservative tune.

It all really depends on what you're planning to do with the car.

I have had a old school green, FP Black, and now an HTA3582...The HTA3582 has been the best set up that I have had by far. All of them were on a 2.3L with stock intake mani/TB and kelford 280/276. My Black only netted me 430 on pump with some kinks in my set up which where later fixed. On E85 it made 575/513 but was extremely smooth and spooled fairly quick...now I am on the hta35 and the lag between this turbo compared to the black was very minimal. I wouldn't even waste my time with the black. In my personal experience I would stick with a 6266/3586/3582...that way you wont have to upgrade three times like myself lol

Very nice. What are your pump gas numbers on the hta35r?
