I recommend shep trans... You can't go wrong with their stuff/ I've seen people have their trannys or xfer cases rebuilt by them then beat them to death in high horse power cars and they still shift like a hot knife through butter.

That sucks man..... When I did my clutch I changed all my fluids and I was scared I didn't fill them enough or remember to. Sucks to see this happen after sitting for a build.

I had this issue after mitsu replaced my first t-case. I drove the car for 74 miles and BAM, the car went nuts. I got it to roll to the top of the off ramp and then it locked up. Put it in reverse and it rolled like 2 inches. Put it in 1st and nothing would not move at all. Called mitsu, they took it in and looked at it. They said it is your t-case, we left out an upper o-ring.
So I am going to say it is your t-case!

Did you buy it like that? Did a shop service it and not refill it? How did it end up getting dry in the first place?

You may as well get a new transfer case. And don't forget the o-ring between it and the transmission.

Oil, oil, oil. Such a simple liquid that if left forgotten costs us thousands. Send it to shep trans for a rebuild and get it back even stronger than it was before.

****ing sucks when you don't realize all the steps in reverse. At least now make sure the new one is a built one for future powa upgrades. GL.
