Not only that, but my exedy three puck thick faced clutch is on its way out after 28k miles. I wasnt exactly nice to it, but on wet pavement doing axis spins, hell, even in the SNOW i could hear it sliding/slipping/groaning on the flywheel a bit. Maybe I dont have it adjusted right at the pedal. Eff it. When the new clutch goes in, its gettign a new clutch slave and master too. No chances to be taken. Clutches on these *****es are NOT fun.

I know I have no reputation here; but I will say taht a 3 puck clutch will hold greater than a higher number clutch. The trade-off though is shorter lifespan of clutch especially if made from carbon. The greater number of pucks the greater the longevity of the clutch but the lesser holding of torque. Also if it is made of Kevlar or another material similar it will wear better and with less bite though.

A lot to think about on clutches and what not. Any other elaboration is always great to learn from.

The video in general is a badass

Thank you sir. Its a cera-metallic thick facing. Basically 6 brake pads on three pucks. Honestly, for 500 bucks, a helluva clutch. Never had an issue with lockout until recently...but its just the synchros getting tired making me miss shifts. Meh. I smell a shep trans in the works... Thanks for watching.

He and I have been friends for a long time... Obv trusts me with his life, and knows what I'm capable of. He was never in any danger.

Yep, soon as i got back on the highway, had a nice WUMP WUMP WUMP sound from all the wet sand packed into the wheels Scooped it out, presure-washed the **** out of her, and she was fine. Actually, OTW home from Aberdeen my right rear tire blew out. Must've picked up a nail on that last doughnut. Totally worth it
