Whats the highest mpg your EVO has gotten

Yesterday I was crusing along at about 45-50 mpg and trip comp was over 25mpg! I was really taking it easy just to see how high it would go. Its nice to know that this car can be economical when you want it to...unlike my RX8, didnt make any difference how I drove it, it never got above 18mpg avg per tank.

I've gotten 330 miles from a tank, and I didn't run it dry. Was virtually all highway at ~80mph.

There are a couple threads related to MPG on here...I think the best MPG I have ever had on the highway was around 24-25...

yeah my best MPG was on my drive back from OCMD to MA going ~80 the whole time. I was shocked at the miles to a half tank...

typically get like 260-275 per tank.... Just put the rack on for winter going to see how much it changes my mpgs..

after getting ~16mpg last tank, I decided I'm going to take it easy on this one. So far I have 5/8 or so of a tank left and have gone ~120 ish miles (mixed city and highway driving)

I get about 100 mpg, just have to push the car a lot. Totally worth it though to get the higher mpg.

Got 300 miles once. Usually 180-240 depending on how many pulls per drive I average. Haha.

Since you're talking about mpg (and not miles per tank), I once hit 30.4 mpg in my bone stock IX SE. My next best was a bit less (I think it was just shy of 30), then another time I hit 29.1 mpg. Those times I was definitely trying to get good gas mileage (driving regularly at 65-70 mph on a freeway without the A/C running but earlier in the morning when it was cool).

Aside from times where I was actively trying to get good gas mileage, I got 27.1 mpg, which surprised me since I was driving 75-80 mph, got stuck in a bit of traffic, but had the A/C on half of the time. I remember it since it was the night of the De La Hoya-Pacquiao fight in December 2008. But more commonly on highway drives, I'll get between 23-26 mpg. This past Thanksgiving, I averaged 25 mpg almost exactly (24.99) during my ~277 mile trip to visit my family, and that was with three people in the car, our belongings and the A/C on for about a third of the trip.

Daily drive 70 miles round trip and usually end up with 24-25 mpg...some city, freeway, and canyon cruising...

Have gotten better on some longer trips up to Norcal...
