turbo help

so i'm looking into a hta 3582 or 86, but do not want to build the bottom end cause it's my daily. my goal is at least 500+ with e85 how well will it hold and how much boost i can hit? is there any evo 8's out there with something similar that i am trying to do?

You won't need e85 to hit 500whp with either of those turbo's. If you get a good (SAFE) tune you should be fine for quite a while, if you actually want to utilize e85 and high boost, you will need to build the bottom end.

well ive seen people use e85 without building bottom end, but if i can hit 500+ without the need of it, would be great. i already have 1150 fic for it. i will definitely put head studs on of course.

joe when you say stock... is it literally stock lol. i've seen people say they're stock head but it has cams lol. but you got 550 with 25 on 93 octane that is nice, what manifold did you go with?

why so much power for a daily? I have a tiny 400 whp tune on pump and its bit much for the crazy rush hour traffic. I imagine 500+ will get you into some trouble, especially in the type of weather they get in Philly!

Good luck!

yea i know, but i would like to have some fun sometimes as well you know? lol well seeing as the 3586 can get so much, why not? if i'm going to buy the turbo i'm not going to settle for 400 because of the weather and traffic.

I would recommend installing headstuds and cams if you are planning on that much power.

I have thought about going to 500 whp. I just dont have many opportunities to go wot during my daily drives. And believe me I look for them!
Get a fresh set of tires and enjoy your new power.

Ive been looking into a 3582 or 86 as well. Make amazing power on pump, while keeping tq low so you stock block stays together.

Just cant find a decent kit without spending a fortune.
