Number 1 and 4 on the outside edges of the exhaust port have the issue in some heads. It is always in the same place though so identifying it can be done prior to install but has to be done after the port.

The GSC CNC head is still available exactly as I run on my car and the White Evo.

Because they have set so many records allready and have moved on to bigger and more expensive platforms.

We do still produce parts and work on the Evo 8/9/X platforms. Also we will revisit this once a solid solution has been found for this issue but at this time we have decided to put it on hold.

We have started to work on other platforms but we have not stopped working on the Evo 8/9/X

To AMS, so if the car has already used your head, and no coolant was dumping into the combustion chamber, the head is fine? I just want to clarify since i personally have bought one from you guys.

That is correct, if you currently have one on your car and the car is running fine with no coolant burning issues then you are ok. If there was an issue then it would have leaked coolant from the first start of the engine after the head install.

AMS is still a top notch place guys. I just wanted to inform the forum.
Stock evos are rare, but they wouldn't stop doing this service without a real cause.
I mean, its a cnc program lol.
Can't blame shops for expanding their horizons either, as the limits of the ct9a are pretty much met.

Thank you for the comments on our heads also project and Ross. We have also seen this casting problem in the mitsu heads and it does hurt the CNC process. Fortunatly we have a solution for the problem and have not had a problem with any of our heads since fixing the issue and still flowing like a mad man with STD size valves.

I would have to disagree with this comment as shops are still successfully developing for the Honda B series engine...and that engine is older than some of its drivers
