I read in force feds thread that they only offer the cnc headwork on heads that have not been ported. It said its to avoid hitting one of those pockets. That they had to put a bunch of time into developing it to make sure they don't. While still offering an awesome job.

I am glad to hear that AMS would step up discontinue it. Once they knew there was an issue.

Well we have in the past done porting on heads that were previously hand ported. And while it can be done 99% of the time they end up with un smooth surfaces because the porting of the runners is not as consistant and smooth as the CNC machine can make them making it some what "ugly" to the customer and obviously they tend to not be happy after cutting a previously hand ported head.

Stop taking the guide boss out completely on the exhaust port, or enlarging the port at the flange, only asking for trouble there.
