funny my mom hates buying 93 as well, her main reason for giving up the WRX for the CRV lol, she was born & raised in Boston (M*******/speed demon) she misses being able to overtake and merge on her terms(boosting) don't know how much longer i'll let her drive it though her attention span is shortening due to age.she gets distracted by gauges and her phone easily but still my friends find it funny when they are in there modded civics and run up on her in the evo and she rolls on them

My moms afraid to drive it now. For some odd reason she thinks that an evo is compairable to a Austin heli and tells me all the time how similar they are. Well I took her shopping the other day and I said did you car do this and I hammered on it. Needless to say she wont be getting in the car no more she screemed bloody murder.

I know they're just cars but the reason I started the thread was for the drivability purpose. I have a 6 puck clutch, 4 point cage, harnesses, and straight pipe all the way back. So it's not the quietest or smoothest or most comfortable but she likes to drive it. I've already gotten calls from friends saying they saw me driving and it was my mom haha.

I used to let my ex girlfriend drive mine until she put it less than $500 away from being totaled. That's not the reason shes now my ex but it helped.

Absolutely. She has driven it many times in the past and now drives a CTS-V. Even my 74 year old Grandma has driven it.

My mom died 4 years ago and I am a little too old for most of you. But, back in the day, I let my mom drive my '69 427 Corvette roadsters with 4 speed and manual steering/brakes. She loved it. I am sure she would have loved my Evo.

Both my parents said they would never ride or drive my Evo. I was suprised when they said the car scared them when I tell them how fast I get up to when on track (145mp isn't that fast lol).

My mom couldn't drive my car because she's tiny and my seats don't move, she doesn't particularly like riding in it because of the lack of interior, cage, and harnesses, and would slap the **** out of me if I hit boost with her in the car. My gf doesn't drive stick and is terrified of my car... the only person who EVER drives my car besides me is my tuner who happens to be the exact same weight/height.
