My mom hates being in the passenger seat of the car ("loud and uncomfortable") so I could never imagine her driving (especially since she doesn't know how to drive a manual). I would teach her to drive it if she asked but I'm pretty sure that won't happen.

I've taught my x-gf how to drive stick (no pun intended haha) on my car and I didn't mind. Like everyone else said, it's a car.

I let my girl drive once because she asked me when I got the cams and full tune done....She got down the block after hitting about 15-18psin stopped told me to get out and never let her drive again
I took my mom for a ride and pulling out of my street (heavy traffic) hit about 14 on the gauge she made me turn around got out and said she would never go in it again

And thats how I prefer both!

After giving her a ride home from work and she covered her eyes for the majority of the trip I doubt she wants to try it her self.

Yes, my mom (49) drives my evo once in a great while. She is always telling people that it "makes this weird noise, then takes off!".

She also used to drive my S2k until she ripped the front lip off pulling to close to a curb. I did not care, but she refused to drive it after that lol.

No considering she ran my brothers prelude into our garage.
I'll pass.

No, since she thinks that my GF's Civic is "Zippy". I am too scared to let her drive it.

My mom used to drive my 1993 Honda Civic that was fixed up, complete with 17" wheels and body kit (the thing to do at the time). She was constantly hounded by anxious teens until they discovered it was an old woman driving. Once in a while, she's driven my previous M3 (also fixed up) and received the same kind of attention.

I let my mom drive it once. It was hilarious. She went to give it gas to pass up some dumb driver and her reaction and facial expression was " OOOOOH SHIEEEEE " lol Then she continued to have more fun it in.

When we got home to meet up with my dad, she asked me if she could take my car for the day lol.

The real question is, can you get your mom to drive your EVO?
