let my mom drive it about a year ago, shes been in it when i get on it n scares her to death, haha, so needless to say when she drove it she barely boosted on it. But only way she would wanna drive it is if every car we have is out of comission. haha

Of course I would! I let her put put around town on occasion. Without her I wouldn't be alive to experience the evo!

It is cool to read some of the story's of mom's driving these modded EVO's..Although with my current clutch setup there would be no chance for mine

Yea my mom drives a 5 speed ranger and when she went from driving my car for 2 weeks to the ranger she thought the clutch went out in her truck haha. She said she felt like she almost pushed her foot through the firewall.
My mom was the first person to drive my evo after we bought it from the previous owner. From the DMV in Poway, to Solana Beach to drop seller off at the train station, back to the Costco in Poway, and then back to our house. I would probably let her drive my car again if she really needed it since she is a more careful driver than my dad (for instance he was eating a pork rib on the way back to our house from Christmas Eve dinner at my cousin's house).
Can't drive stick and she refuses to learn to. I doubt I'd let her drive it though maybe if she was more experienced. She already is afraid of the boost lol

My mom taught me to drive stick, so I'd have no problem letting her drive the Evo.

The only issue is that she has Plantar Fasciitis (a foot issue) and as heavy as the clutch is I doubt she could back the car out of the driveway without having to stay off her feet for the next few days.

Haha... Me too! Not to bag on my mom, but she can't ride a bike or swim. Not being able to do those two things, I don't think she can even drive my Evo.

My mom drove my first Evo on occasion. It had cams and a pucked race clutch in it and also made over 500whp, but she had no problem driving it at all. I was amazed lol.
