Only thing I have yet to do is a transmission rebuild and welding, but am actively working towards learning that. Otherwise, I do and own all the tools to do all my own work. I can also tune and have messed with my own tuning.

I do and have done everything on my car, other than tuning. I get so impatient with tuning lol. Plus its a lot of money at stake if I screw something up, so I will leave that for the pros.

I do every thing minus tuning and machine work only because I don't have the equipment necessary. Tuning is better left to someone who strives to be the best instead of someone who can do a little bit of adjustments here and there (me)

I do everything that I can that does not require special tools. (machining, welding, etc.) For the basic things, clutch install, turbo swap, timing/cams, etc I do myself. (including tuning)

Tune and build the cars. Only parts I don't mess with is machine work as well as alignments. Tuning is way fun once you get the hang of it.

I do the easy ones myself, fluids, intake, exhaust, BPV, but other than that I take it to someone that knows what they are doing.

I do all my own work. Feel lucky to have a garage since it really is a necessity to do the job uninterrupted by the weather etc.
As for the tuning I'd suggest if your interested in doing some of your own tuning to get an e-mail tune and do some logging and tweaking on your own. The base tune is most important.

I do everything myself due to the way of the old school... not enough money to pay other people to do it, doing it yourself gives you boat loads of knowledge, and wanting to know every square inch of my car inside and out! Only things I dont do are mount my own tires and tune. I'm working on the tuning thing now though, so hopefully soon the only thing I wont do is tire installs.
