Do you work/build/tune your own evo ?
Got a lift,welder, tube bender, parts washer,mill, lathe.....huge snap-on tool box filled with tools etc. I do ALL my own work from beefing up a tcase to drop in pistons. I dont do computers tho but im learing from my tuner....i do alot of work on my friends evos also....its a fun hobby plus i can make a little cash on the side.
This is not just on evos tho....gotta 65' scout im doing a soa lift on now. Cars are my passion lol.

Dam that's dope man. I know that being how the economy is some people can't afford to have there cars go to a shop and have some work done instead they try to do it them selfs. I know my limit as far as what to do although i try to read and learn as much as i can.
I try to do everything myself except tuning.
I don't have a mechanical background so I just look up a how-to and get to work.
Some stuff is just obvious though
So far I have done stuff like injectors, fuel pump, shifter bushings, TBE, MBC, wideband, ported IM, EM and turbo...
Next is rotors, pads, ss lines and swift spec R's

I've worked on quite alot of cars in my life and motorcycles so I can do everything except fabrication. I'm sure I could learn to do it but I've never gotten into it but rebuilds and clutch installs etc I do myself. Saves alot of money too to have these skills.
