Evo running lean..need some help...
Ok car runs fine in part throttle and driving around town. The issue is when I get on boost, at around .5 bar the car starts to run leaner...starts in the mid 12s and by the time it hits .7 its in the 13s and over 1 bar its in the 15s. It progressively gets worse from .5 bar on...I have also logged it via Evoscan and it certainly does knock...so my aem wideband is correct.
Anyways here are the things I have done to try to solve this problem...
-installed NEW AEM FPR with gauge
-installed known good walbro 255
-re-wired fuel pump
-checked fuel pump voltage at idle and its a consistent 13.5 volts.
-I also tried adding fuel to my map through ECU flash 1.42..no change.
for reference... my mods are: Map V3 intake manifold, Full blown 70 MM TB, ETS 3.8" garret intercooler, AEM FPR, walbro 255, and removed all emissions evap canisters/solenoids and EGR, AMS exhaust, MAP o2 eliminator DP, GSC S1s, AEM cam gears, and stock turbo..and I think thats it.
Now I am down to possibly clogged injectors? or perhaps for some reason clogged fuel pump filter housing filter? What are my chances if it being either? What is the best way to check my fuel tank return line being clogged? Is there something else I am not thinking of?
Help me in a new direction..Or I might have to go after a filter housing. I really dont want to have to fork out for a new filter housing as those things are like 400 dollars...
