i ordered a full oil swap to finish off my build for my car and want to drain all the crap ACD oil from the reservoir and pump. after inspecting the pump and doing a few searches i have yet to figure out how to drain it. can anyone help me out?

 

can you just bleed the system till dry or is their another method to get all the old oil out.

 

Do it like brake fluid. Bleed until the new clean fluid starts coming out.

 

ACD is the one place i would use nothing but factory fluid. The damn system is fickle and picky as it is.

 

 

many folks running AMSOIL in the ACD,,, it just a darn SP 111 ATF fluid for crying out loud


you have to drain from the transfer case there is a bleeder fitting on top of the TC,,, there are some procedures in these forums on how to.

 

ok great, my main concern was just to get all the old fluid out. as long as bleeding it will accomplish that im all good

 

anyone know when you bleed the acd, does it drain the front diff first or from the pump?

 

i had the dealer drain mine when they did the TC under warranty so i cant speak,,,

I am sure if you called a mitsu dealer and ask to talk to their Evo tech he would be more than glad to help you

 

from the looks of it their is only one line going to the acd from the pump, im going to try taking the oil line off and just bleeding into a bucket. completely forgot about the pump and filled the front diff.. i just dont want to mix all that new oil with dirty oil.. giving it a shot when i get off work soon.
