I live in southern cali, and from my observation I've see a crap load of evos. Maybe thats because I live in a populated area. But for the sti, I've only seen 3 rolling around.

I've been seeing 2 Evo's constantly in my neighborhood. A blue and a red on Boston Road in the Bronx. That's all I see. I hardly see them anywhere else.

My 10 cents

You have to remember that Mitsubishi isn't trying to break any sales records with the EVO. Its always been and always will be a limited production vehicle. Only a small percentage of the population would even consider this car. I believe Mits brought 6000-6500 units in 03 and in 04 I am hearing 3500 + 700 EVO RS's. This car gives the American people just a taste, again, not intended for mass market. I know my local dealer has 4 EVO's, 2 yellow, 2 red in stock. The STi is not produced in limited production in the USA, the STi with the 2.5 was designed for our market and has no limit, the more people buy them, the more they make, not so with the EVO.

I always thought it was the STi that was limited and the Evo was the car that Mitsu will bring over when and if they need them.
