^ Thanks for the support.

OP, If you need anything, just send me an email, PM or call.

Thanks guys. I will get a tune see how everything goes then. Today, I putted in a blox racing MBC and thought everything will be fine, but the issue still there. In fact, my boost spiked pass 25 psi then slowly plummeted down to around 11-12psi.

The vacuum at idle is between 18-20.

could it be my factory boost control circuit is bad?
18 to 20
or
-18 to -20

Even still, what brand is the gauge aftermarket, if so, what brand?

Just curious how you installed the MBC? Up until you installed your new MBC the car was running the factory boost control setup, right?

If so, then you had to have disconnected the original factory vacuum/boost hose assembly as well as the boost control solenoid. The boost control solenoid is located underneath the factory air filter box.

If you disconnected the factory boost/vacuum hose assembly then you would have had to plug off the nipples where the hose ends were connected. Did you do this?

The OP came into the shop the other day. The issue was that his WGA was preloaded too much. Its all better now.

The wastegate preload was too high, so Jay at Boosted Tuning helped lower it down.
The spike issue is resolved, but my boost taper like crazy and I do mean crazy.

3rd gear spike to 20 psi at 3500rpm then taper to like 11-12 psi near redline.

I have tried different spring from weakest to strongest in my MBC, but it doesn't help the taper. With a stronger spring, the boost spike more so I left the weakest spring in the MBC.

If I adjust the MBC up, the spike goes up, but it doesn't hold boost and it basically taper back down to like 11-12psi.

Mod so far:

Cone Air filter
AfterMarket BOV, not sure on the brand.
Blox Racing MBC, pretty much a copy of Hallman Pro RX.

Can it be that the turbo can't keep up with the air flow? Or there might be something wrong with my wastegate or do I just need to get full exhuast and a tune?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Note: To gain access to the WasteGate Turn Buckle without having to remove the radiator everytime, I removed the lower heat shield and cutted a section about 1-1.5" off just enough to slide through the 02 sensor whenever I want to adjust the WasteGate pre-load. Before you can remove the lower heat shield, you'll have to remove the 02 sensor. You can rent a 02 socket from your local auto parts store for around $25. I got mine from O'Reilly Auto Parts.

If I was you, I will buy it a FP 18 or 25 psi WG.. Are you check it for boost leaks???

ok. I did a boost leak test and found a few leaks. The major leak was coming from a bad IAC O-ring. I went down to my local hardware store and bought a new O-ring for like $.60. No more leak after installing the O-ring, but the taper still there.

I've already ordered a 18psi wastegate, so I'll just have to wait and see what's up.
