My first Evo

I hope that this is the correct place to post this type of thread. I just traded some stuff for a 2005 Evo and I am really trying to see if anyone happens to know the original owner.

I was told that the the car has this and that, but I wanted to try to find the owner to verify. I know that the car has a Shepp trans, but they would not give out any information on the person that sent in the transmission other than the date it was completed and what was done to it.

I know that the Evo has a 35r, with other bolt ons, but I am unsure of the engine internals. I pulled the valve cover and I know that it has springs and retainers, but cannot tell if it is a stock or built bottom end. I also know that the original title was from Florida.

If anyone happens to have anymore information that would be great. I know that it is a shot in the dark, but I thought this would be a good place to start.

Any here are the pictures that I have.

Out of curiosity, what did you trade for it?

Two cars and a built honda swap, with a complete turbo kit. Mind you that the civic that I traded was a SFWD car making a little over 850 to the wheels.

^^ True that, i'm dealing with that exact issue now. That's a pretty nice engine bay though, I have that exact wheel setup as well.

That's a fairly common size in that specific wheel.

Changing the oil was the first thing that I did. I am working on getting some of the things that were done cleaned up. For an example: they put in the Full-Blown dual pump kit, but the line going from the saddle tank to the main tank they just disconnected the line. The last owner did not know why they smelled gas when they filled up.

Thank you for the remarks.

I am not sure if they are 17's or 18's, but I do need one new wheel the last owner messed one up.
