Use Alumilite. Its what marketers use to make large marketing material. Very light and strong. Check out the show-n-shine section, and search for Honda-guy's build thread. He made one for his track car! Good luck

^ X2 In the coming month or so myself and a friend are building our own Splitters for track cars out of alumalite, we will be doing a full how-to with pictures and examples and may even offer some precut alumalite to those interested. We already have purchased some and have used the APR splitter as a base shape and are trying to improve off that example.

It looks to be scheduled just around my yearly Spring Break mod-a-thon.
Its decent with heat, to make it better we will be using some gold reflective tape in the critical spots, It also helps that my downpipe is wrapped very well, It should withstand oil pan heat no problem, which is about as far back as it will come.
Dibond is very similar but over twice as heavy with no extra strength since its a solid poly core rather then a corrugated material.

I also used alumalite. With just riveting to the bumper i could almost stand on it. 6'6" 260 lbs! Planning to make anotherone quick attatch and stronger with bidirectional layered alumalite. This is just for autocross.. street modified
