This and the JDM mirrors have always been in the back of my mind. Be the first one to make it work and blaze the trail for the rest of us!

EDIT: also I thought the HVAC was linked to the ETACS, since the defroster button should trigger the heated side mirrors too. Is this not the case?

I may have found a used heater assembly! Brand new heater assemblies from Mitsu Japan run US$1150. Updates soon!

Since it was absolutely impossible for me to find a used air mix assembly from someone in Spain, Germany, or Russia, and I'm not about to pay over a grand for a new one, I bought a used assembly from a USDM Evo VIII. I will be purchasing a single motor assembly only from a LHD model, and the rest of the stuff from a used RHD EDM model. I may have to do a bit of "custom" work to get this thing to work. I will know more once the motor comes in.

Auto AC controls and the mirrors, windows fold and go up with the key buttons. Mirrors also unfold with the keys or open automatically at 40 KMPH.

That is a very good start, but I can absolutely promise you that this conversion will take more than that.

I just now graduated with my BSEE and will be working on this project full time come June.
