It's an affordable high octane fuel that will work in your evo.

If you think about it it's not as affordable as you may believe it to be, although it doesn't cost as much as gas the cost goes up with the mileage because it doesn't give you very good fuel economy.

That is true. Most are not concerned about fuel economy when speaking of performance. Compared to other fuels with similar octane levels, it is quite the bargain.

I personally will be running Sunoco race fuel, as I would have to store either options in barrels.

like the other posts I went to e85 and the power is fantastic.....I have only two stations with in 10 mikes and one night I worked late and had to go get the fuel.....which was a pita......but the extra power is well worth it....I dont drive alot so fule milage is of no conver, but I cant take my car on a long trip in fear that I might run out and have no where to get e85.
I do recommend the dual map, i have both e85 and 91 set up.
hopw this helps you out

I usually say you will gain at least 20% whp over 93pump gas. So if you are putting down 300whp you should jump up to at least 360whp with e85

Oh wow I didn't even think about that, I guess yeah if you aren't concerned about fuel economy it is a smart change. Sadly I have a 03 Eclipse GTS I don't think E85 would help me at all, and I'm not making anywhere near the power anyone here has so I have to stick with premium gas.

E85 is te way to go. I would suggest not getting it from the pump... I get E100 44 gal an mix 11 gal of 92 into a 55 gal drum...pump is not really e85 its way under rated witch is horrible for an e85 tune.. I mad 70 more hp with just e85 tune!

I'd go e85 if it was more available, but since only specific places carry it. I'm sticking to pump gas...

I spend about as much on E85 in a week as I would premium so there really is no cost savings but I'm comparing essentially home grown race fuel to conventional Arab/Venz oil.

I like American home grown.
