To all of the race fans

Hey guys i was just looking at the pics of them wrecked EVO's, and i just had to comment on that. For the love of god and the car we have, it is not worth street racing your car. 1 you dont get anything out of it but tickets. 2 you are risking your life and anyone elses in the car. 3 your breaking the law. 4 and most important, whether you win or not in a street race, or whether or not you think its street racers respect, again you win nothing... save it for the track where the numbers count and where saftey is most reliant. We have fast cars... we all know that, and we have nothing to prove.. street racing is also another way of saying "im too broke or cheap to pay to go to the track". My 2 cent plus tax....

You know, there are several pros that started off as street racers. Not everyone catches the same deal (nor should they), so they'll continue street racing--not only for pride, but also for the fact that it can be quite lucrative.

I love going to the track. Im going to live there starting this spring. I started street racing when I was 18. Im now 22, and I still do it. So if your driving along in ur car, and say a guy in a vette thinks He's going to win, and wants to race. You are going to turn it down? Nope sorry I have never turned down a race.

Street racing can be dangerous yes..but it also depends on the people doing it. Take the high school screw full of 16 year old kids for example..that would be dangerous for them. Then on the other hand (I'll use Japan as an example), we have people in their 30's doing, and even in their teens, but the scene over here is much more controlled and safe. The people over here doing it have a lot more respect for the cars and road. Every now and then there are crashes but when doesn't a car crash in racing? It all depends on the people doing it.

Street racing is dangerous, but it's just irresistable. I do it all the time, but rarely find anybody worthy of my time. Arrrrrrr
