car wont start after i stall it. dont know why
car wont start after i stall it. dont know why
please bare with me here, im trying to give as much details as i can to get the right answer
.
So prior to me explaining what had happen.
I had just installed Spark Tech NON-CDI inidividual coils for my car, and also a Blitz Turbo Timer and adjust my clutch pedal so it better suits me.
I have a evo 8 with a mivec everything swap. from turbo to tranny to everything. its basically a 9 in a 8shell/title.
after i installed the sparktech everything worked fine. the car never felt better. and it ran smoothly. then after testing out my new coils and everything seem fine i installed my TT with the right harness. and again everything worked perfectly.
and did the clutch pedal adjustments too.
everything seem fine for like 8 hrs. im a delivery driver so i turn on/off and drive my car alot during the day,
and again everything seem perfectly fine til i stalled...
right after i stalled i tried turning on my car again and it keeps turning over and cranking but it wont start. idk why.
it sounds like a car without gas trying to start. but my car fuel tank is half full.
i didnt want to flood my motor so i stopped trying to crank it.
my buddy showed up and he said he didnt here the fuel pump coming on. but how could i mess up my fuelpump by stalling once??!?!? this is getting real fraustrating. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks again for reading and lmk what you guys think! thanks.!

also i waanna add that i check all the fuses in the engine bay in the fuse box and all seem fine.
also check the coils and inj plugs and they are all connected. everything in the car seem to work fine but it just wont start. idk what to do. lmk evom!

maybe it could be something with the ignintion fuse or the ignition it self? because both of my last mod had to deal with the ignition. idk im just stuck in a rut right now. my car is stuck at a gas station and i got 24hr to figure it out b4 i have to tow it. lmk what you guys think! haha
It could very well be your fuel pump. Electronics can work one second and the next they don't. I would check your spark too, to make sure you're getting spark. You said you checked everything on your install and everything looks good, so I'd start with the basics. Spark, Fuel, Air... Maybe turning your car on and off a lot in the day for deliveries wore something out. Just a little FYI though (if I'm wrong about this I'm sorry, but it's something I've always been told), it actually takes LESS fuel to let your car idle for a few minutes than it does to start it.
i found out the solution. it was my ignition fuse. apparently i totally forgot to install it when i put on my sparktech and it blew. now everything runs perfectly and normal. thanks again for your help! and advices. i love this forum haha.
