Sunroof plug

I'm taking out the sunroof (no need pure track car) I don't have enough money at this time to put in a CF roof, so just need to fill the sunroof bay with a blank (metal,CF anything) just for the next year then i will be going with a CF roof and finish up the 8 Point Cage...

any one know of any sunroof plugs you can put in?

thanks everyone

ALSO any one have any good idea's on plugging the rear wiper hole? something inexpensive and light.

I haven't found anything aftermarket either other than CF or OEM AL roof. Just recently sunroof developed a heck of a rattle. I realigned the SR w/ the adjustment screws and was fine a while then came back. Locktighted them in and been fine since.

Would love to put in a plexiglass plug. But I'm sure a custom 1 off would be a nice $

so far the only plan i can figure is to have the body shop cut some metal to size of the glass and basically paint and weld in from below... put the rubber seal on it... call it good till next year...

on the rubber grommet.. i have tried to find one at LOWE and HD and ACO etc... i can't find anything big enough also that was not like 2" thick... I'm still looking... if any one has any idea's posting would be appreciated...

A guy sells a plug kit in the classifieds section under the interior/exterior section. There $20 bucks shipped and look clean.

Ive seen sunroof plugs for other cars before, but unfortunately nothing for the evo .

Best bet would probably be the body shop at this point, maybe they can make something for it. I plan on getting rid of my sunroof too, hopefully putting in a carbon roof if I can afford it. Good luck!
