GReddy RS exhaust. its the replacement for the ti-c. it has a deep tone at acceleration and deceleration. you can barely hear it at cruise. its very lighweight so i dont see the point of paying a lot more for a titanium.

as for intake most will say perrin.

Good post...you are suggesting an exhaust that does not exist for an 8/9, you drive an Evo 10

I like my AMS exhaust with resonated pipe, but if you are looking for cheap then this one is not for you.

X2 I always thought Injen was carb legal and thus the extra expense.

Being in Cali I recommend the buschur scca legal catback or the WORKS exhale for noise purposes. I heard both of these on cars and they were much quieter than a few others out there.

LICP I would go ETS all the way. UICP is nice if your relocating your battery otherwise I wouldnt bother. Intake-- unless your over ~360 awhp, again I wouldnt bother. Being in Cali its also just not worth it explaining it to the cops when they have you pop your hood. That happened to me and I had to explain how my car came with an intercooler.

I have Injen upper and lower IC Pipe with Greddy TiC and I love the exhaust note.

Another good choice for exhaust is the Tanabe Medallion Touring cat back. I have it on mine and love the sound of it. Best part is it's not obnoxiously loud on a long freeway trip.

How was the installation on your intake? Did you have to relocate your battery? Someone posted that you have to? Is that true? And is it CARB legal? Sorry for asking too many questions. I just want to be well informed before buying one.

My brother has it already on his VIII. It does sound nice though! But I just want to get something different. I believe it's very similar to Greddy SE? About the same tip and not as loud and just right.

A lot of you guys are suggesting either ETS or Perrin. So which one would you guys prefer between the two?

For intercooler piping? ETS all the way.

Intake? Can't go wrong with either but I do love the Perrin filter (minus the insane amount of oil it's covered in). Could do a hybrid of both? The ETS will be constructed out of metal but the Perrin is a silicon material.

Just looking at both of their websites. ETS is a good $60 cheaper. May be a different story at a different vendor.

For what's its worth, I had an old GReddy Evo exhaust on my turbo'ed rx7. I loved the exhaust note, but that's a completely different beast.
