heater knob

is there a easy fix for a really stiff heater controll for the hot/cold, i traced it back to the box and everything is fine but the arm on the box moves hard, im getting tired of reaching under the dash to switch it

If what you mean is that this occurred when you installed the new arms then you need to watch the video, especially the part about where it shows how to make sure the adjustment is right. The blend door uncovers either the heater core or the A/C evaporator or some of both. This is how the temperature is controlled. It may be that the door in your heater box, if out of adjustment, never uncovers the evaporator.

Above the accelerator pedal. The arms are white plastic.

If the arm does not fix it you have to replace the whole assembly. PITA. The whole flap is f-ed up.
