It's all about the numbers.

In some peoples eyes, the number is everything. The experienced build a car for a purpose, inexperienced build it for the number. Youve posted enough hate to know this is true.

Interestingly enough I think people go from no mods in their sig because they are near stock to every single mod listed in the sig, and then back to no mods listed in their sig because they have too many to fit. Tons of cars with over 400 whp these days because stock frame turbos can make those numbers easily on pump gas without losing drivability.

Do a hta3582 I have it on my stock block with mild hks272 cams that you would never tell I had. I make 475whp+ on the stock block while keeping my rods very happy compared to the torque these stock frame turbos are making while maintaining good spool for a 35r turbo with ridiculous top end power.

Not the easiest thing to do, probably want a shop to do the install. Not sure what you mean by "quiet" cams, high lift cams will give you a lopey idle. Cams with a similar lift to stock cams will retain near stock idle. A set of mild hks 264 cams may interest you. Again cams is a whole another topic, search cams. You should really talk to a shop about your goals.

Normal Evos idle at 850. Mine idled at 1k because of the tune and cams. Below 1k, it was rough.

And personally, I would definitely talk to a shop about your goals. Right now, as it stands, you sound like a lost puppy. You don't have to get work done by the shop, just talk to them and they will lead you in the right direction. I always send an email to MAPerformance whenever I'm lost and they respond back the next day. Of course, they want to sell some products so it wouldn't hurt to buy parts from the shop you're talking to. When they help you, you should help them back by buying products from them.

Check out the dyno section and check out people setups. heres one set up I like the does way more than make 450hp on a stock block. just check it out.
