since i am replacing the headgasket and the timing belts this weekend maybe i can put in the cams...
Not hard, if u have the right stuff, springs and retainers can make it a bit trickier. Definitely be good to do when u put the head back on.
The "quiet" cams will be the less aggressive ones that don't make as much power.

Yes, I run kelford 272's and at 1200 rpm u can't really hear a lope but at about 1000 it sounds like this.

I edited the middle part of the vid where I had my license plate it in...oops

Then, we agree.

Youve posted enough hate to know this is true.
Can you rephrase the above in a manner that's meaningful to folks who read and understand English?

If only I had a nickel for every one of these threads, then I'd be able to build an evo with big numbers. Lol, I have more fun in my 400/400 e85 stock turbo car then my buddy does in his buschur stroker and pt6262 making like 590 on pump gas. His is in the garage cause something broke (drive line related) and im gonna drive mine to work tomorrow. He built his car for numbers I built my car to be a fun daily. So concluding, what mods would I need for a 950hp evo? I'm on a pretty tight budget and I really don't want a big turbo with much lag.

This all depends on the size of the engine and the turbo of choice. And the word "fun" is very subjective.

Decide your actual budget, otherwise this thread is going to go on and on and on....

On another note, just because your car idles at 1200rpm does not mean you have bigger cams. There is no such thing as "quiet" cams, its either stock and has no lope or they are bigger and lope a little to a lot.

since you're on a budget you can try going a similar route to badev0's build....holset hx40 turbo with the bull's eye turbine housing (for quicker spool) for less than $1000, use the remaining cash to get a good set of cams (gsc s2's, hks 272's, etc), supporting mods like bigger injectors and maybe a double pumper setup, and a good tune running e85
