as stated, your worm-screw clamps sound broken. Here's a great link to a full set of t-bolt clamps that I purchased. It was originally sourced off these forums too.

I know this is no help butttt. For those of us that have had an IC pipe blow off its enough of a noise to make a grown man cry while ****ting his pants. My upper blew off on a nice boost pull and i sat on the side of the road looking at the car terrified to open the hood.. lol

Some of the responses made me .
Tightening an intake enough to crush it? There's no pressure in the intake pipe! Just has to be snug.
Stock mesh couplers make you lose power because they expand? You may lose a little throttle response, but that's it. Hell, half the stock UICP is that stuff!

i just orderd this stuff, its 2.5 silicone hose ID you can get the bad *** Tension tight Tclamps that are 2 3/8 - 2 3/4 for it tighten to 70In pounds. They look similar to the ones shown but have a Large spring on them that lay positive tention to them so they never loosen with vibration, overkill? yea but im a engineer so no such thing to me LOL. I orderd thru a place i use for work and i got the whole silicone pipe and a bunch of Tclamps for under $50 Ive also considerd Replacing most of the pipe [Injen crap] with the Silicone hose that is reinforced [it would make less connections this way] the wire Reinforced Silicone hose hold more pressure and wont expand at all, also it wont kink as easy as the regular silicone hose. I actualy shopped around for the hose and found it to BE WAY to expensive from everywhere else [$100 bucks for some elbows REALLY?] from where i got it from @$15 bucks a foot and it was deliverd within 24 hours free.

I still have the stock mesh ones on. I have blown my LICP off twice after the install. Just gotta check them every now and then.
Blown gasket could you hook me up with where you got the couplers? I have the Injen couplers as well that came with the kit.
