low oil pressure and oil leak

low oil pressure and oil leak

My car oil pressure is at 10

Its leaking oil near the turbo line that goes into the oil pab

Leaking near the crankcase

White smoke as if it were the bat mobile

Could have a bad turbo if it's smoking and your center carriage is leaking check for shaft play!

Turbo was just installed zero shaft.

The return on it looks poor though.

Yea but a leaky return line wouldn't cause the car to have low oil pressure if it's smoking like a chimney thru the exhaust might be a lemon of a turbo!

Btw my head gasket has less than 50 miles on it.

Turbo installed recently.

could be a sending unit going bad maybe. fix all your leaks first, then compression test the motor and go from there.

10 PSi even at idle is very bad. You may not want to run the engine anymore until all the leaks are fixed.

And white smoke is usually coolant. Check your PCV valve.

The factory service manual gives 4.5 psi as the lowest safe limit for oil pressure and this would occur at hot idle. But then the OP doesn't say this is for hot idle. Maybe it is for 120 mph. Maybe he gets a steady 10 psi at all rpms. Wait, that's impossible. 10 psi is useless data.

Sending unit is oil pump? Changed to thicker 5w50 and its at 15-20 on idle tusday its going to the shop.
