I have a few questions, are those coilovers any good? Is it suspicious all the gaskets were just replaced? The Carfax came back perfect. And are ARP headstuds any good?

Also what mods should I look at first if I wanted to start lol
Thanks!
Is it a full turbo back exhaust? I would do Intake, mbc, evo ix bov, then a tune if youre not going to spend a lot of money right away. That'll get you to about 270-280whp on a mustang dyno. But if you do want to spend money, get some 272/272 cams, walbro 255, e85 is always amazing but you'll need bigger injectors too with that and maybe an evo 9 turbo or bigger depending how much power you want. The arp headstuds are one of the best if not theeee best!! Bottom line it all comes down to what your goals are

Well to be honest, I got the car cuz the kid couldn't pay the loan payments and he wanted out so I lucked out on price and these damn schools now adays lol so pricey. and I have done a few events, I race in the LeMons (not the real one the cheap one, with my whole family racing) and I have been racing Spec Miata and 944 Cup for a few years now (Miata now, 944 before), I'll see what I can do about an autox with this baby, SHE IS SOOO NICE lol

And EveTuner, my goals are to have a quick Evo and still have a reliable (as close to it as I can) DD, lol

If you know your way around racing... then you'll be fine. Be sure you don't mod out of your classes.

Bottom line... just enjoy the dang thing!

well what i listed above will get you anywhere from 280whp-450whp...depending the turbo and/or if you wanted to build your motor...talk with your local tuner and get a plan together for the kind of torque/hp you want. And like stated above enjoy the car because they really are amazing

I got my evo when i was 21, as long as you dont mind working some hours its not so bad. Mine has been my DD for almost 4 years. Intake, exhaust, intercooler and all the pipes. I still haven't got it tuned for some reason. I love this car. I've never regretted using it as a dd. Its probably just not the most fuel efficient. Enjoy man! Good luck!

A bit young to be starting med aren't you?

Leave your car as is for now. If you have doubts about the tune have it flashed to stock too. Don't waste money tuning it now when you'll most likely retune it later anyways. Its going to feel plenty fast if you're not used to it. The head studs is kinda worrisome because I'm pretty sure it was done one by one instead of the proper way. But if you're not having problems I guess its fine, just leave it.

Take some time to read on this forum and read all you can. Get some kind of knowledge base before diving right in. And I'd suggest you preserve as much of the reliability of your car as possible. Once clerkship hits you will neither have the time nor patience to deal with typical highly modded unreliable car BS.
