bov recirc?
bov recirc?
I have a, 03 viii , with a little idle dip problem when the clutch is engaged or i put it into neutral. I have zero boost leaks 100% positive on that, my iac is clean and in working condition (car has 25k on it), maf was cleaned. And my BOV is recirculated, but what im thinking is that not all the air is being recirculated, the BOV is a hks on a hks uicp it sits on top of the pipe right next to the battery, i have a tube hooked up all the way down to the intake; it was a straight radiator hose or something but its squished a small amount at the bend but still is open its not squished flat.
Having all that said do you think the idle dip is that, not all the air is being recirculated because of the sketchy recirc tube it has to flow or is that not a possibility
- modifications to the car, hks 264s, greddy fmic, hks uicp, hks bov, spoolin cop, cusco intake pipe, warlbro 255, catback ext, arc airbox, hks evc, 23psi

what exactly is your issue? if your complaining about idle isues, your car should be under vacuum at idle, and therefore would be no pressureized air needed to be recirculated. when ur car is at idle your car should be under vacuum and your bov should be 100% closed because of spring pressure. this sounds like an issue because of your bigger cams, not actually a problem but being you have a bigger cams it might be a fueling issue. id have your tuner look at it for you. maybe its a simple fix. doesnt sound like too much of a problem. they only way you would get idle proiblems because of a bov not recirculatig enough is if the bov is 100% vent to atmosphere. in that sense, say you would pull out from a stop sign, build up a bunch of boost under load, then push the clutch in to slow down for another stop sign, when your car stops at idle it may run extremely rich for a few seconds and may cause idle problems as it is trying to correct itself, orr then go lean as it does correct itself either case rich or lean when you try to move again it may cause a hesitation. your problem could be from a number of causes. first things first id say have a tuner look at it and you should be able to figure out whats going on from there. hope that is informative lol. hope ya get it figured out
