Non ACD evo

Hello guys, i went to look at this evo today because i want to get back into the game and the car comes with a built non acd. All three lights are on. For those of you with a non acd..this is supposed to be normal right? I heard of it but never seen it in person. Can someone please confirm it? Car drives fine and everything. Just to make sure before the purchase.

It's normal If u do a search there's a way to get the lights off if it bothers ya. The acd pump is no longer there so there's nothing to plug the power harness and pressure switch harness to so u get the famous 3 lights. Not sure the method or if u have to jump some pins, but pretty sure there's a way to get them turned off. I have thought about going the non acd route on mine.

Weight reduction and not having to deal with the pump corroding and locking up and other bs that comes with keeping the ACD up and running.

He said its a built non ACD diff. So whether the lights are on or not it ain't open. Also RS models come with the ACD option as well.

Just remove the ACD ecu and the lights will clear. Located on passenger side lower right to the glovebox.

I mean "built" could just be puffery, could be a stock tc, without paperwork you will never know. 04 RS is a non acd car which is the centerdiff in question. 05,06 are acd. It was not something you could pick and choose as an "option".
If you have an 04 you do not have acd, 05,06 you did.

General rule of thump, do not buy someones modded car. Asking for trouble. My 2 cents.

bolt-ons I'd say are fine, it's fairly hard to muff up and intake, exhaust, coilovers, boost controller, or intercooler piping (and they're easy to take off and replace with stock if that's what you want). once you start getting into engine and drivetrain being taken apart, i'd walk

I was aware when acd came out He never said it Was on '04 that's why I mentioned it. On the other hand I bought my evo knowing it needed drivetrain work. If u do a lot of the work (labor) urself u can keep the costs down fairly decent, any used vehicle especially evos, being a high hp force inducted 4 banger that usually or more so than not owned by younger kids that drove it hard and beat on it.
