i currently have 3 fuel pumps in my evo and its killing on gas especially with stock injectors the guy before me did this............ how hard do you think it would be to go to a single wabro with fic 1250cc injectors i have a fuel rail and a fuel regulator already just need to get injectors...

im guessing it depends on how the 3 pumps are setup.

Just because you have 3 pumps doesn't necessarily mean you are going to waste more gas.

 

I have 4 O.o and your pumps don't dictate gas mileage. How much fuel your injectors dump does. You could have 15 pumps and get the same gas mileage.

 

Why does your sig say you have a double pumper, but your saying you have 3 pumps?

3 injectors is this a new speed secret? lol The op has stated the previous owner had a bigger turbo and injectors and took them off and just left the fuel pump setup. Im guessing it has a double pumper with an inline pump, but why? Also it's not getting bad gas mileage cause of the fuel pump setup, its probably runnin too rich and u probably need to turn the IDC's down

 

why there is 3 pumps i have no idea im just stating the facts.. if it wont make any difference then ill just leave them and just get the injectors

 

You still only have 4 injectors using it

 

the pumps supply the fuel pressure, the injector duty in the tune dictates how much is being injected in your combustion chamber. at least u dont have to worry about the pump not supplying enough pressure. and if 1 goes u still have 2 more... jk

but it you want to switch back, u have to figure out the wiring and if there is an inline pump. your going to need a stock sending unit.
