Sloppy shifter??
Sorry for digging up an old thread; would the bushings be similar on earlier (1-3) Evos to the ones for the 8/9? I have a fair bit of side-to-side play in mine and want to resolve it, but I imagine that sourcing the specific parts might be tough. If they were cross-compatible, that would be great.
I actually found a potential source of the problem; I undid the shifter mechanism in the cabin and there was a loose nut on the shaft that attaches the shifter to its linkage. Basically, there was a shaft that the shifter actuates on and to hold the shifter arm onto the shaft there was a collar with a bushing in either end, tightened on with a nut. The nut appeared to have backed out after simple use and tightening it solved a lot of my slop. I'll probably still need new bushings at some point, though.
