Dropping a little weight
Dropping a little weight
So, I'm in the process of slowly shaving off some weight and I'm not sure if anyone would know a rough answer to this question but figured I'd ask anyways cause you never know.
So far, I know it's not much, but I don't have a scale to properly measure the weight of everything.
What I removed thus far is all trunk trim, carpet, board that cover spare tire, spare tire, jack, tire accessories, washer fluid tank (dry), rear wiper and the motor assembly.
I'm guessing not much, like maybe 15lbs or something, but honestly I have no clue and was just curious.
Apparently I didn't put this in the evo general thread
If it can be moved that'd be great, dunno how it happened but it did lol.

You may want to contact a mod and have this thread moved.
FWIW, the spare tire, jack, board, trunk trim is ~50lbs. The rest is almost pointless, unless your aim to further depreciate the value of the Evo that you were lucky enough to buy stock. On a personal note, by now you should have realized that the ricers you talk to on our local forum (Roclife) are beyond ignorant. Do yourself a favor and really use the resources EvoM has to offer. Good luck.

Yea I know, why I don't post much on there anymore.
I don't really want to molest the car or it's value but I want to make it an exceptional evo, not just leave it bone stock, I know nothing goes as planned but I would like to keep this car till the day I die, don't ever want to sell it and won't let anyone convince me otherwise.
Besides the gauges I've literally ordered all my parts through STM and plan on keeping it that way, I know that they know what they're all doing.
Don't want to run my **** into the ground with a million wheel horse power, but I want to at least have that clean Evo 9 look with some serious ***** into the engine.
