whats up guys,

im starting to have problems with my starter and im looking for a rebild kit. i havent had much luck.

any success stories or advise????

just get a new one, autozone sells them for around 100$ with warranty

 

yeah true but i have 2 and i would rather rebuild both of them for the same price of a new one

 

send it in for a rebuild, take about a day and should cost $40-80 bucks new oem parts too at the place i use.
they did my alternator and did a great job on it for 90 bucks it works perfect, but ive been using this place for about 10 years now too so i know thier quailty

This place is in chicago, im sure you can find one locally but here is the info in case you cant.
they do great work the alternator or starter will look Brand new
When they rebuild no matter what is wrong they go thru the whole thing they do it all, bearings, stator, armature, Regulator/retifer, starter solinoid
,bindix gear.

There's a place in my town (probably every city of any size) that does alternators and starters. Take in the ailing part and they rebuild it to new - no worrying if what you are getting back is going to fit your application.
