3.5 FMIC but Stock LICP

I have a 3.5 Turbo XS FMIC but am still running the stock LICP. I'm going to get my car tuned in a few weeks so now would be the time to upgrade the LICP but I am debating on the LICP since this is my daily driver and I'm quite content with the power its making now and could spend the money elsewhere.

Will the LICP increase the effectiveness of my 3.5 FMIC thereby definitley making it worth the upgrade or will it simply give me the 10-12 whp gains from freeing up the bends (not really making a difference if my FMIC is stock or not)?

It will be a big improvement. Not only will it increase power but it should also increase spool. The licp should be one of the first mods done to the car as it is very restrictive. You wont regret doing it.

How the hell did you guys feel an improvement? I didn't notice a difference and if I could go back in time I would not have purchased the pipe and left it stock

Not sure about the guy above but I noticed an improvement for sure. I highly recommend it.

Recommend ETS. Might not be light weight aluminum but I can clamp it down without worrying about the piping collapsing.

It might be in everyone's head haha. I can't feel a difference between 375whp and 400whp, so a 10whp improvement was nothing to me

If you still have your stock one, pop it back on. There is no way you wont be able to feel a difference. Its been proven on this forum that the licp is a huge restriction. Just as with the stock downpipe and catalyst.

Too much effort for nothing, I can switch between e85 and 93 and don't feel a difference except for torque so the pipe itself is not going to be noticeable
