How restrictive is the LICP?

Reason I'm asking is I have an AGP 3.5" FMIC with the UICP and I'm installing a 6262 kit soon. So I was wondering if there is any benefit to upgrading the LICP?

I have an Ultimate Racing upper and lower pipe. The lower honestly looks exactly the same as the stock unit as far as shape and size. The only diff being hard pipe to stock hose. The only benefit i would assume would be no flex in the hos under heavy boost but idk. Id love to know this as well. Perhaps it insulates lower temp better.

There have been many tests done on LICPs, my friend. The bottom line is that is smoothes the transition of air throughout the intercooler set-up and increasing the potential to make more power.

I do not see how the same concept does not apply.

cause the stock LICP is much better designed in the X than the 8/9...

However, OP, if you're planning on maxing out the 6262 then a bigger LICP could be beneficial.
