Recaro warranty?
Recaro warranty?
Hello EvoM community! So today when I was at the car wash and my older brother decided to stop by and give his car a quick rinse ('05 SRT-slow). As I was vacuuming the interior he starts pointing out ever flaw on my car.. the little curb rash I have on my right wheel, the rock chip on my hood, the fact that he's faster than me etc. But he did point out one thing that did grab my attention. My drivers seat seemed to have some kind of discoloration or uneven-ness in texture on the lower portion of the seat and it looks like one of the stitches came lose in the middle portion of the seat?
It's kinda hard to describe but I did take some crappy cell phone pictures so you can see for yourselves... I understand the leather they use to wrap the Recaros in isn't the same type of leather they use in Beamers, Benzs or Bentleys but you would think it would hold up after only a couple years. (I purchased the car about 3 years ago with 9K) I understand the manufactures warranty from
is extinct at this point but I'm curious if maybe there was some kind of warranty on the seats from Recaro?
and i doubt its from "normal wear". The car has 25K on it now so figure about 5K a year? i'm just wondering what my options are at this point? Is there some kind of magic fairy sperm out there that i can use to recondition the seat? any
fellas? thanks in advance
