ACD lights on in hot weather..any ideas?

Just like the title states all 3 of the ACD lights turn on only on hot days. We've had some nice weather here in MA a few days in the 80s & 90s and ive noticed that all the ACD lights are on on these really hot days. Is it the pump thats maybe going or something else? Just wanted to hear some sugguestions from you guys thanks in adanced!

usually all 3 lights on means bad pump. it could possibly be old fluid. not sure the last time you changed it but that would be a good place to start

Have you installed a clutch recently? If so, the ACD needs to be reset.

Is it coming on immediately after you start driving the car, like within a mile? Or is it coming on after driving for a couple minutes in the heat?

Only way to really tell is to have it scanned however, it sounds like the pump has gone bad.

Most likely you need a pump rebuild. As the weather heats up and the fluid thins out, the pressure will drop from the corrosion in the pump.

I only have alil over 16k, i picked my evo up last Oct with only 12k on it but the car sat alot as u can tell by the mileage so ive had to replace a few things here and there, i guess this will be just another thing on my check list.

That's exactly how mine started... lights would only come on when it was hot out. Then after a little while, they came on and stayed on.. checked the codes and its the pump.

Probably not if it's an '06, but can't hurt to ask the dealer. There are rebuilding options on the market now which is good
