CF Vortex Generator Broke!
Aside from the double sided tape I hope you cleaned off the surface really well before you put the tape on there. Becuase if not that could have been the cause of it or the tape being to old. Anyways those things are cheap you shoul dhave no problem getting another one.

Also, they are not THAT cheap. Sure, the plastic ones are only $50 or so, but the CF ones run $200+.

UPDATE:
Rexpeed is sending me a new VG this week. Derek, from Rexpeed, said to use dish soap to clean the roof, rather than rubbing alcohol. He said it does a better job of "lifting" the wax and dirt off the roof... I suppose there is some logic there.
I guess I will see how this one goes... I am still undecided on adding any additional adhesive of some kind.

I did the same thing. Didn't have 3m, so i used the cheap tape included. Came up at about 70-80 mph a few months later. it was poly and not CF, so it didnt break. Lucky I heard it, and cae to a stop. Reaplied with 3m the next day, and its held strong since.
Mine broke tonight at about 150. It's my second one. First one broke at about 140. Going to do everything I my power to make sure it stays on next time. This time (unfortunately) the VG lifted my moulding and I lost a couple clips, the moulding flipped around and got my paint kinda bad. Got to buff it. And also the VG broke in a few pieces and one hit the leading edge on the spoiler. Nice little crack down to fiber. It could have been worse I guess. But still sucks. Take extra care installing VG's. Know where I can get a moulding clip "kit" ? Both sides. All the ones that mount to the car and everything?
