I recently took mine out because it was broke anyway. No issues yet. Never heard of the air theory. Now I'm tossing the idea around if I should replace it. I just think it looks pretty cool though. Being able to see somewhat inside the engine bay and all. Just my .02

If Mitsu put it their, its their for good reason. I cant see Mitsu putting effort in r&d and money in each Evo if their was no need. I can definently see how it allows hot air to be pulled out of the engine bay, a venturi effect of some sort. Just my thoughts.
