Installed CAI, now IC piping keeps falling off?

Hey guys,

I know this is kind of a common occurrence for Evos, but I recently installed a Perrin cold air intake, and now my intercooler piping pops off of the throttle body frequently when under higher boost. Anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

Hey go inside your girlfriends bathroom vanity and grab some hair spray and spray in on the end of the pipe, and seal with t-clamps.

I dont see how the intake could affect that unless you are now running more boost. Nonetheless, I recommend replacing all of your worm clamps with t-bolts, cranking them down real good and doing a boost leak test to make sure no air is escaping from any of your connections!

Alright, I did have this problem a few months ago, but I'll retry the T bolt clamp and hair spray method. Thanks guys.

I found it that t-bolt clamps don't work too great on the coupler for the TB.. I would just suggest a nice regular clamp with a little hairspray.

I also find that you sometimes have to hold the t-bolt clamp in place while your tightening it so that it stays behind the rolled edge of the piping. I have had mine blow off before because it was sitting right on it.
