AEM wideband vs. other widebands

Hello guys,

Many ppl say AEM wideband is the most accurate and reliable.

How do you guys think of this ?

I saw many prosports guages due to its reasonable price...

What kind of wideband guage and boost guage do you guys use now ?

Thanks!

i use the AEM, i had an innovate LC1 previously and it was super finicky, my sensor has been going strong for nearly two years now.

Definatly would buy again in hindsight.

I've had the AEM UEGO on my DSM for close to 2 years now with no issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend it. I just purchased an Innovate LC-1 for my EVO because I don't want the gauge to be in the car all the time. Stealth mode.

I have the innovate LC-1 and it seems to be alright. I think my number are slightly off as the tunner reads 14.5 at idle out the end of the exhaust. I have mine mounted in the test pipe and it jumps between 14.1-14.4 cruising and idling

I use the AEM in both my Evo and Supra... I really like them, and they are pretty simple. Mine have never had any issues with race fuel either (yet, but good for years), which is nice.

What do you guys think about the AEM wideband with a comparable boost gauge to the Zeitronix set-up? Is one more accurate than the other? Which do you guys prefer?

I've got a Innovate LC-1. Gauge is spot on. The ability to correct for the sensor aging by free air calibrating the sensor is a definite plus. Very happy with the gauge/controller.

AEM gauges are generally "good" in many categories including performance, aesthetics (well...maybe not aesthetics), etc. But their real advantage is awesome reliability and super easy to set up and idiot / hassle proof. They are built for people that hate gauges and wiring. As such I don't believe the UEGO is as accurate as an LC1 but its plenty good enough for most of us. And it doesn't have the complexity or hassle of the LC1 or zietronix. I'm very comfortable with wiring and technology yet even I use an AEM. The things just work and I don't need to keep giving them attention to keep them working.

Many tuners will favour the LC1 because its probably considered the most accurate wideband on the market. But they are difficult to work with, setup, and keep running. Plus they don't last as long as AEM sensors.

MAP actually has free overnight shipping on the AEM wideband right off their website.
