boost gauge question

I imagine it would throw off the reading all the way around correct? So when it reads 15psi its actually boosting 16-17?

My tunes for 23 lbs and i was making 24 with the gauge like that so im assuming its off bc my knock sensor went off lowered the boost to about 19-20 no knock so i think the gauge is off

I guess I'm gonna have to turn mine down too since i get that lovely fuel cut when my gauge hits 20psi

you guys are kidding me right? my greddy or delphi gauge doesnt do this at all. it sits at ZERO. im running a eletronic one thou. 30k car but a cheapy *** boost gauge. a boost gauge is not where you want to save your money.
