Best of luck if you go out tonight. Weather should be good for it. The RWD 2G won't be there and I'm going to catch a Silverhawks game. In for updates!

Only did a few passes. 13.3 @ 104mph.
MPh was consistent 102-104.

Honestly don't think it has much more in it. 12.9 maybe with good driving

I want to do some auto-x and go to gingerman (thats why I don't want to push it too much at drag). Have plans on doing full bolt-ons and e85 this year.

What were you're 60' times? That trap speed still seem s pretty low for your mods. Something's not right..

When I had my 09 Cobalt SS I ran that exact time and mph! Just full bolt ons and tune.

Everything else is stock.

I did alot worse than I hoped for. Its my second time at drag strip ever but first time gettIng on this car ( boght it few days ago) and I had problem with getting into any gear at high rpm.

My question is, how fast should the car be?
Adjust your clutch pedal, should help you out with gear lockout at high rpm. I also have the ACT HDSS, and have experienced gear lockout above 7200+ maybe 7500+ even, but adjusted my clutch and haven't had any lockouts yet.

I ran with k20 integra on e85 and we basicly were side by side, I only got him off a line.

I did 1.8 60ft. 13.3 was with 2.0 60ft. I didn't want to abuse it because there is just no power to go much faster (no need for hard launches)

I think if I tried 1.8 or 1.7 60ft then it would run low 13's high 12's

I will see if I can find any exhaust leaks but its basicly stock car with exhaust and cams.

Fmic/piping, o2 housing, 8 turbo (9.8) intake are stock. On pump gas.
I don't think that I'm really benefiting from those cams without more mods.

Car was tuned at boostin performance by previous owner. I'm not sure if he asked for extra safe tune or not, I will have them retune it after I get some parts.

Hope it's just safe tune and nothing major. So far I didnt see any oil consumption or burning, boost gauge goes to 0 like it should (when turning off). Have any tips on what to check?

IDK man... I know a guy with similar mods and he's running mid to low 12's on about 24 psi. The only differences for him are his cams are Kelford 272s, 8 turbo w/10.5 hotside, and AEM intake. He might have an O2 housing as well but I know his FMIC and piping are all stock. I doubt he's gaining almost a full second and trapping 10 mph faster on just the intake and hotside.

idk what's wrong with it. It runs and drives good. Maybe my Prosport digital gauge is not accurate, it's been acting up.

I'm not even spinning when launching. Car feels like low 300whp. I ran 110mph in my Subaru and that car is deffenetly faster at any given moment.
Maybe intake, o2 housing and 10.5 make that much difference? But that's doubtful.

I need to save up and get tatrix cable with wideband to do some logs.

Are you running an MBC or ECU-controlled boost?

Got all the parts for boost leak tester. Plan on making it tomorrow.

I had a quater size hole in exhaust right before my muffler, I noticed it during oil change before track and patched it up. I could now hear a possible exhaust leak from header. Is there a for sure way on finding pre-turbo leaks? (other than resude)

Thanks for all the help so far. Ive researched a whole bunch already. Really like this evo (1st one had more problems) wife wants her own evo now lol.

Start the car when its cold and hold a sheet of paper near the manifold, you should be able to see it move from the exhaust , or see dark patches appear on it. Also soapy water when cold same process.

If its a cheap tubular almost for sure has some cracks and thats worth a ton of power preturbo.

Thanks.
It's a stock manifold. Will try doing that tomorrow.

I'm hoping my cable and stuff arrives this week but I'll be out of town. I was going to do cams when I did the tbelt/WP but not anymore. Just going to check out the tune, make sure it isn't knocking anywhere, and drive it. It dyno'd 330 whp for the previous owner and that's plenty for a DD which is what I use mine for.
