heat blocking powder coating or ceramic coating info??

heat blocking powder coating or ceramic coating info??

hi there. im trying to coat a couple of parts myself and im trying to use a powder coat or a ceramic coat that pretty much blocks heat... I've been trying to find places online on where i can buy these coatings to do myself at home. Does anyone know where or the website to visit??? thanks

I know you mentioned coating it yourself.. But I just sent a load of parts to Swain for the white lightening coating. Might want to look into that

Do you know the process to powder coat? It's pretty extensive and you need to electrically bond the powder to the item getting coated then bake it for a couple hours. If you have this stuff at your house, I'm coming to get my coating done with you.

But, I know you can buy the stuff you want from Eastwood. They are kinda like Harbor Freight...have a big assortment of stuff here is a link to their site's coating section. http://www.eastwood.com/hotcoat-powder-coating.html Hope this helps.

powder coating is easy if you know what you're doin.. i was searching eastwood as they are a great source for powder coating ,but i just wanted to see if there are more out there.But yes thanks for your help. i know about Swain but its really something i've been wanting to do myself as it would be usefull now and in the future

i rather just learn it as powder coating is simple

A bunch of guys used to use the Eastwood stuff back in the day and it came out pretty decent!

im really wanting to do everything i can .. the main things are i/c piping and intake mani. Of course along with a couple others . i just think when learning about coatings you can do sooo much . Plus its not that hard.
