clutch issue... thoughts ?

A few weeks ago, my clutch line started leaking. I replaced it with a one piece from stm, Along with a new slave cylinder. Today my clutch got much softer then under normal conditions. Now I have a loss of power and a soft clutch..... Thoughts of problems and solutions ?

You don't have a mixture of dot3/dot4 fluid in the reservoir do you? Seems like I've read on here that dot4 messes with the seal(s) in the cmc and csc. I see you have an 03 just like me. I'd recommend putting a new cmc on just because of the age/miles.

And the master cylinder is fine? Did you take the rubber cover off to see if theres any leakage on the inside of the cabin?

I do have a mix of both :/, but I'm not leaking fluid. The clutch catches its completely out.

Try bleeding again. If you search, you'll see a good number of threads with people losing pressure, even after repeated bleeding. If you're not leaking anywhere, I'd try replacing the master cylinder, and if that helps, you can then buy a rebuild kit or $40 and have a spare.

Nah, 2 bolts on the inside, and a cotter pin to release the pedal. Then take off the banjo bolt inside the engine bay. Replace and reverse order.

And while you're there, might be worth replacing all the fluid (clutch and brake) if you aren't sure what you have (DOT3 or 4, or even 5).

DOT4 is fine. You should never mix DOT3,4 with 5, though.

Drove around today, no acceleration. In fourth gear the car builds boost and goes nowhere. Then the clutch actaully engaged and I was moving.... I think its time for a new clutch.

So for example you're at 5,000RPM and the car isn't moving? Yah, that would point to the clutch itself.
