Build the head. why do you want to rev to 10,000 rpm?

sure, but that doesn't mean you'll be making power at 10k.

what are you goals? and don't say rev to 10k... that's a means to an end.

I would start with a LR2.0L before going anywhere near 10k on a 2.3L. I don't think I've ever seen a 2.3L go to 9k as that would be the only time it did.

I will agree that a 2.0 is better IMO for 10,000 RPM, but saying a 2.3 is not capable of over 9,000 RPM is false. The BR 2.3 RPM has been proven to 9900+ thus far in The Bad Bish.

Why not just buy a honda? You want a high revving evo and you dont care if it makes power there? I am sorry, but this is probably one of the dumbest statements I have seen in quite sometime.

Please do us a favor and sell your car to someone who will use it for what its intended for.

Why not just send me several thousand dollars, change the numbers on your tach to read 10 instead of 8, and be done with it. You'll have accomplished exactly the same thing in the end. You have a lot of learning and reading to do.

Wow I don't usually post but why not care about power and care for revs that's kinda dumb Man.

But do some research and reading up don't expect everyone to just hand you over a how to because in the end it's you that choosese the parts you think work.
