If you bought them new, no. Just install and then tune immediately after.

If you bought them used, possibly/your choice. It would be good insurance to get new seals and o-rings to prevent any type of leaks.

just make sure the injector scaling etc etc is in line. A good tuner should have no issue. Mine are the 1450's with single walbro and the duty cycle is only like 52% or something like that. What all mods are you planning to run with e85?

I would say without cams or an intake you may struggle to see 400 dynojet with an 8. Some car has done it i'm sure but without either i would guess like 375? Im no tuner though lol.

oh yeah for sure. my numbers were also from a VD in dynojet mode. I had my buddy at Blevins tuning do mine and got some ridiculous numbers and 1/4 trap out of the car but ive seen a lot of good looking graphs from tscomp lately as well.

hey svt, if u look at that thread, thats y im thinkin i can get close to 400, e85 is def better then the guy runnin 94, plus the 10.5 8 turbo is a little more efficient then the 9.8

plus from wat ive read, just havin an open cone filter with the stock intake piping is sufficient till high hp, i didnt do the uicp for the reason there is no restriction when it comes to the piping except for the stock couplers expanding...so who knws

yeah that car is a freak i remember reading that thread. I hope you can get the same result! Let us know how it goes for sure. I think him having a 9.8 with hks intake is basically a scratch for a 10.5 with a stock intake. But you are right about the fuel most of the time e85 is good for anywhere from 35-65 whp for most cases ive seen although some have been more. With these cars its all in the tune. Ive seen similar set up cars make 50whp difference from one owner to another. Boost leaks and weak turbos are a silent killer. Keep us posted man.

I would recommend a higher flow fuel rail of your choosing especially for running e85. I had chris black from AMS tune my Evo 9 and I put down 365 hp/ 395 ft lbs and I had 3"TBE w/ Megan O2 housing, AEM intake, AMS Cast intercooler, ETS Upper/Lower IC piping, AMS fuel rail, 1000 cc Injectors, and Walbro 255. Best of luck with your tune and all and I hope you reach your goal. I am just letting you know what he told me when my car was at AMS. Higher HP require a larger volume of fuel typically. Especially when dealing with E85. Again, Good Luck with everything this is just my .02
